Robert is and has been a director of listed and unlisted companies worldwide.

These have included Schroder’s UK Mid Cap Investment Trust plc, Carclo plc a diversified engineering group with operations worldwide, regulated specialist fund manager FIM Services Ltd and of Bookham Technology plc. Robert holds MA and MSc degrees from the University of Oxford

Zhongwei Xu, Partner, Rockley Group is responsible for investment management and execution. With proven experience and success in various cross border M&A and fund raising activities, he also provides financial and strategic advice to customers worldwide.

Zhongwei holds a BA degree in Management from Shanghai University and an MSc Degree in Economics and Finance from University of Bath. He is a CFA charter holder.

Andrew Rickman is the founder, former CEO and chairman of Bookham. Dr. Rickman grew Bookham from a start-up to the world’s second largest multinational optical communications component company, listed on the London Stock Exchange and NASDAQ.

He currently serves as chairman of several venture capital-backed companies in the UK, the US and China, specializing in co-founding and mentoring fast-growing technology companies with broad market prospects. Andrew Rickman holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Imperial College London, a PhD in photonics from the University of Surrey, and an MBA from Cranfield University.

He was named in the Queen’s Millennium Honours List in 2000 and was awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his outstanding contribution to the telecommunications industry.
